the-elm's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The beginning of the end (?!) I'm very scared right now. The last 2 weeks, give or take a few days, have been so horrible. Sometimes, someone says something you would never ever want to hear them say to you, and your whole world falls apart. The words were bitter and they stung. I can't even figure out whether you're always pretending now, or if what you voiced then is how you truly feel, but you just won't admit it out loud. I wish I knew what everyone truly thought of me.. Has it ever happened to you? Have you ever wondered what someone is thinking about you right at that particular moment? But that's over now. I was happy up until a few hours ago. Yesterday was such a fun day, and probably more productive than the entire month put together. I went to LUMS, the university that I am hoping to go to next year (ok, to be more accurate, the university my PARENTS are hoping to send me to next year), and as it turns out I fulfill all their requirements so far (read: I am doomed to LUMS). It's been raining pretty hard since yesterday too, the temperature is about 70 degrees, and running around LUMS me and my friends got soaked to the bone, and all the students there were giving us weird looks. Hahah. Afterwards we went to Pancake Lounge and hung out, discussing how much fun we'll have if we manage to go there. Heh. But then today is a different day. Of course, it's against the Laws of the Universe for me to be happy for more than a fixed period of time, and now I'm supposed to have a "talk" at 12 about something so grave that it cannot even be explained briefly to me. I have a feeling I know exactly what's going to happen, and it makes me shudder. WHY GOD? Oh well. I suppose you have to take the punches as they come. This one's going to hit hard though.
