the-elm's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Happy Happy Rain! WOW. I have a life now, all of sudden, after a long long time. And it's SO COOL! Let us see.. Today Roojie-girl came over and we watched a movie, munched on pizza, drank Pepsi, looked at a bunch of magazines (such as Teen People and the like - VERY educational material there folks), did a quiz about how ready Arooj was for a serious relationship (the result was that she wasn't and that she was too desperate for her own good :p - which is not true in reality), listening of good trance music, a little bit of information exchanging (read: our pathetic attempt at gossip), calling friends who were too busy on their phones for us to get through, sitting around, driving through the city in the beauuuuuutiful rain, stopping at the CLOSED dvd store and not being able to buy anything, and finally, going to school to pester the teachers. It was FUN! Arooj is fun, we went to camp together waaay back in the summer of 2004 in Maine (America, not the country Maine) and it's just fun hanging around with her. It rained all morning today, made me all hyper, I even scared Arooj with my excess of enthusiasm on the phone. I woke her up and started yelling gibberish.. heheh. Yesterday I had literature class, which was actually interesting for once. We discussed Humanist and Modernist Theories, and they were quite intriguing. Basically, the Humanist perspective says that every human shapes his or her surroundings and the situation that he is in, whereas the Modernist Theory says that every human is shaped by the situation that he is in. I'll have to vouch for the Modernist Theory, since I can relate.. There's only so much one can do, and sometimes the obstacles we are faced with cannot be overcome. I know, it sucks. But the Humanist Theory is overly optimistic, in my opinion. The day before Annum and I hung out, which was ALSO fun. Me and Annum have only recently gotten to know one another and I love her! She is soooo much fun! She told me about this friend of hers who is in "love" with Brad Pitt and has a poster of him in her room. She regularly has "conversations" with him and actually believes he can hear her. I laughed my ass off. Annum tells stories in a good, funny way. Heheh. My parent are subjecting me to some more cellphone nonsense though, and that made me really upset last night. I went into worst-case scenario mode and convinced myself my whole life would soon go down the drain. I'm not SO sure about that anymore, but there is still a great likelihood. Oh well, we shall see. I'm off to go do some Number 3 right now. And I'll bet you won't be able to figure that one out. HAH! Well, anayvayz, later! 4:15 p.m. - 2006-06-27 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
